Crochet Lacy Bobble Scarf

 

 

Hello again friends and followers! I am using this beautiful Hot Pink yarn for this super long bobble stitch scarf with fantastic tassles! I hope you don't mind multiple blog posts. I like to keep my items posted separately but since this was a gift that I made into a bobble stitch gift set I have included a photo of the items together and tried to get a few more angles of photos for you on the individual posts of each item.

Hot Pink Bobble Hat & Scarf Set

 

Hello again friends and followers! I can finally show off the items I gave as Christmas gifts to my daughter. First off I am using this beautiful Hot Pink yarn for this slouchy bobble stitch style hat. And then this super long bobble stitch scarf with fantastic tassles! I haven't made a scarf this long and beautiful, in my own honest opinion.

Crochet Snapdragon Stitch Hat & Scarf Set

 

This beautiful set was inspired by the scarf. I made this scarf a few years back when just beginning to crochet, and at the time I had ran out of my Caron Simply Soft yarn in this color. It sat in a box hibernating for years until I finally found the pattern I was using and bought the yarn again. I needed a hat to complete the set so after making my brim, I used the pattern from the scarf and incorporated it into my hat once I made it to the crown I started decreasing my stitches.

Crochet Heart Scarf

Finished my first Valentine project of the season! I found this code to make the continuous heart pattern on a triangle scarf. I decided since I dont know anyone who wears the triangle shaped scarves I would make mine a regular scarf about 65 to 70 inches in length. I say that because in all honesty, I just finished this last night and I have not even measured the length yet to tell you about it before writing this post. I am so terrible at this blogging stuff. Lol! 

I know after a few washes those hearts wont even resemble a heart. But for now it is a beautiful gift to let someone know they warm your heart. ;)

Operation Decipher That Code!

I decided to attempt another of what I call a secret coded pattern. This pattern is from a scarf pattern but I wasn’t too certain I was doing it correct so I stopped at the row of three hearts and decided to turn my shawl into a scarf. The original pattern can be found here:

Unforgettable One Skein Scarf

 

 

 I love this pattern due to the fact it only takes one skein! I had two, made a hat and a scarf on separate occasions. This pattern is written by Amanda Saldin from Love, Life and Yarn

Crochet Purple Dragon

For my best friends' sons Christmas present I made this adorable friendly little purple dragon scarf! I merged two patterns I found online and changed what were horns into ears and gave him some hair to make him look just that much friendlier! My only complaint would be that he is not quite long enough and if I were to actually expect anyone to use this as a scarf I would make it longer, otherwise I think any child would love to have him as a companion!

Fierce Little Dragon Amigurumi

I changed the horns to ears and added hair so he appeared more friendly. I ended at 70 Rows but wish I had went longer. The pattern ended at Row 40 and said to continue to row 70 because it is long enough to use as a childs scarf.

Crochet Skull Scarf

The idea for this scarf was sent to me by a friend. She found it online and sent to me and had asked me if I could do this project. I researched the pattern and after a few trial and error patterns I found a free one that worked up great! Crochet Temperature Scarf

Finished my Temperature scarf! This scarf was part of a nation wide crochet swap here in the United States each color represents the temperature it was in the crocheters region during the month they had the scarf. Scarf sized for a  5 - 7 yrd old according to size chart.

Today I finished it up with a border and call it finished! I love the colors, what a fun project!

Here is the Infinity scarf I made for my Crochet swap partner! I was late on sending this project out. I was half way done and ran out of the yarn I was using. For weeks I would check the stores and see if it come in yet. I finally had to resort to picking a new color and starting from scratch. I think it turned out beautifully!

Crochet Blue Bell Scarf

A friend of mine recently requested a scarf to go with the hat she received at Christmas. She received a scarf, but it was very small for her tastes. I whipped her up this beautiful scarf. Want to make for yourself or a friend? I found the free pattern online!

This pattern I found on a yarn flyer at my local hobby store. Who knew you could pick up free patterns right in the aisle! You can also find this pattern at the Red Heart North America website. 

Chain Loop Cowl

 

First attempt at this beautiful Chain Loop Cowl. I need a large button for that button hole but so far this is what it looks like! I had started it for a friend who requested a scarf from me. She has yet to find out that I thought of her when making this, so when I finally get that button and complete it I will see if she likes it!
