Crochet Snapdragon Stitch Hat & Scarf Set

 

This beautiful set was inspired by the scarf. I made this scarf a few years back when just beginning to crochet, and at the time I had ran out of my Caron Simply Soft yarn in this color. It sat in a box hibernating for years until I finally found the pattern I was using and bought the yarn again. I needed a hat to complete the set so after making my brim, I used the pattern from the scarf and incorporated it into my hat once I made it to the crown I started decreasing my stitches.

Taylor Pom Pom Winter Set

 

This adorable Pom Pom hat, neck warmer and mittens are all designed around Pom Poms and my grand niece Taylor. Taylor’s favorite color is Hot Pink. She will be turning 10 this month, so I had her in mind when I decided to work on this project. All patterns are from Free Written patterns found online I will link them below.

Testing a Cowl Pattern

I found this great skein of yarn on clearance, it wasn't enough to make a descent sized cowl. But this is as far as I got. I will pull it all out and try something else with this skein. 

Crochet Faux Knit Cowl

I crocheted this beautiful faux knit cowl for my Crochet Swap partner in the Friendship Crochet Swap over on Facebook. I loved it so much! It was very hard to give up. But Luckily, I received a beautiful thick colorful cowl in return.

Crochet Hat & Cowl

It has been a few months since I joined in on a crochet swap and this time I went all out, with a bun hat, cowl and the wristers in the last post! I hope she likes them!

Crochet Too Easy Cowl

It felt great to find a project to use up two extra skeins of yarn I had of this particular color. I decided to make my daughter a warm cowl to wear with her new turtle neck!

Crochet Infinity Swap Received

 

To Infinity.. and Crochet

Here is the Infinity scarf I made for my Crochet swap partner! I was late on sending this project out. I was half way done and ran out of the yarn I was using. For weeks I would check the stores and see if it come in yet. I finally had to resort to picking a new color and starting from scratch. I think it turned out beautifully!

Chain Loop Cowl

 

First attempt at this beautiful Chain Loop Cowl. I need a large button for that button hole but so far this is what it looks like! I had started it for a friend who requested a scarf from me. She has yet to find out that I thought of her when making this, so when I finally get that button and complete it I will see if she likes it!
