About Me
Introduction
I’m Angela, the gal behind Aunt B Creations. I was on a mission to get out of a state of depression after my mother lost her battle with colon cancer. Inheriting all of Moms sewing goods, I took up crocheting.
I had this clever idea that I would learn how to make Afghans, like Mom made for others and in her memory, I would donate them for charity. The time it takes to get an Afghan finished, I realized fairly quick I needed something else.
I decided to join some crochet swap groups on Facebook. Bingo! That was what I needed to enhance my crocheting. With Mom not being around to ask questions and doing fun projects like hot pads and coasters and having to send them to other crocheters in our group, it was super fun and it really helped me find projects I would love to receive, but in turn I will make them for others.
I do love to try all sorts of crafty things, but if I find a great free crochet pattern, I enjoy sharing with others and not leading them on a trail of click baits to follow and never finding a pattern in the end.
When there’s not a crochet hook in my hand, you can find me making handmade cards, painting, or reading. You might also find me playing with my two cats or snuggling with my two fluffy Pomeranians. :)

Crochet Rabbit
Hey friends and followers!
Today I am sharing the FREE Bunny Rabbit pattern I decided to try this year.
Some of you may know I try to make a crochet bunny every year and usually my patterns are from Free patterns I have found online. My favorite kind is a free pattern especially if it’s just something I want to give a try for the first time.
I have not been keeping up with my Crochet a Yearly Bunny challenge and I thought it was time to give it a go again, so here we are showcasing this adorable pattern written by Anat Tzac she has called her pattern Rabbit, you can find her pattern at

Mini Octupus Rattler
This adorable little gal I wanted to make into a baby rattle. This is Red Heart Super Saver in Grenadine. This particular Octupus is not safe for a baby because of the plastic eyes. For looks only. ;)
You will find a link to the free pattern below:

Baby Yoda Take 2
My daughter once told me I needed to be crocheting items that will sell at craft fairs and such like Baby Yoda. I put it off long enough that he may already be on his way out of style trends, but then I noticed he was still a hot commodity so I decided to try the pattern once again with the yarn weight and hook sizes recommended with the exception of the cloak. It was turning out way too large so I stopped early.
See Take 1 below for link to FREE pattern:
Mini Navy Colored Octopus
This adorable little guy was a requested item from a previous design I had made in hot pink. This is Red Heart Super Saver in Navy

Crochet Lost Easter Ducky
I had a fun time trying to finish this fella. He was supposed to be a girl chick in a dress, but I chose to use scrap baby yarn to complete him and it was not smooth sailing that is for certain. I started with the body, and then moved to the head and ran out about 12 rows in. I decided to restart the head in green and create a hat, trying to gauge enough yellow to complete half of his head, but it wasn’t quite half. I continued to the arms and didnt have any yellow for his wings, so I dug in my yarn box found some cotton yarn and made his wings out of a different yarn. Then I had to complete the hat with bunny ears, I ran out of green one row shy of finishing the last ear. But we made it! I used up turquoise, green , yellow and had to move over to a baby blue yarn that I still have plenty of. The beak was done is an orange cotton yarn. I used four different brands of yarn here, Anne Geddes baby yarn, Peaches a& Cream cotton yarn, I love this Cotton Yarn, and Bernat Baby Yarn. :)
FREE PATTERN:
Keep in mind when clicking this pattern I had to improvise my chick since I was running out of yarn.

Pink Bunny
Hey crafty friends!
Today I had to get into my UFO bag, which is the Unfinished Objects Bag...lol! I had planned on making an assortment of bunnies at Easter like I do every year, but this year I went for passing out minion eggs to grand nieces and nephews. Because I didn't finish the bunnies I have several started and decided to finish the pink one this weekend.

Charlie Chimpanzee
Hello friends and followers!
Today I want to share with you this adorable Chimp. It was my first attempt at this crochet pattern, so clearly there are a few mistakes. My 4 year old Great Nephew will love Charlie despite his imperfections. Unfortunately the birthday boys birthday was the 2nd, so I need to get him packaged up and ready for his 800 mile journey to his forever home.

Crochet Dolphin
Found this cute pattern for free of a dolphin I thought I would give a try in baby yarn. I am going to try again in a thicker weight yarn, It really isnt bad, but I think it could be better. I had intended to use it for a charm on a sunglasses case but it turned out a tad too big for that idea.

Crochet Green Mushroom
I am working on making this mushroom small enough for a key chain. This was originally yarn off an attempted frog I decided not to pull out all the way and just started from a few yarns already worked and turned it into a green mushroom. It is about 3 x 3 inches so it really needs to be an inch smaller all the way around.
