Puffly Bumply Wash Cloth

There is a little bit of a back story for this particular project. As a crocheter, or any crafter really, you find yourself searching the Internet quite often for ideas, and inspiration. One of the sites I would frequent for Crochet ideas, Craftsy.com. Who knew that one of the members of my crochet group on Facebook, Beginner’s Crochet Group to be exact, would have one of the instructors as a member. Just knowing that, let me tell you, I was ecstatic. I know, it wasn’t really much of a big deal. It still made me happy. 

So you can imagine how overjoyed I was when he asked me if he could offer a Crochet-A-Long for my group, with videos, and he would offer crochet instruction to any of the members who joined in the event. I know! I was so thrilled! The C2C CAL which is short for Corner to Corner Crochet A Long, with Charles Voth was a hit! The videos and instruction were more than I could have imagined. Quite a few members joined in the fun, making afghans, dishcloths, you name it, using the pattern by Charles that he so generously offered to the members for free! You see here in the photos above my finished dish cloth.

Hanging Basket

Hello Friends! Today I am sharing with you this adorable Crochet Hanging Basket. This particular basket wasn’t smaller than I had expected. 

I was making this basket for my partner in the Friendship Crochet Swap on Facebook. We were told if it’s 6 inches make two. So I went up a hook size and made another. 

Aren’t they cute? I tried out this new yarn, it feels like a stretchy t-shirt. This is how it looks hanging. 

Crochet Sunglasses Case

My first ever, Crochet Sunglasses Case! I am so thrilled how it turned out! I had never used purse clasps before and once I found out that my partner in the Sunglass Case Crochet Swap loved the ocean theme and seashells, well I knew I had beads in my stash that would be perfect to incorporate either into a key ring or a charm. I cannot wait to make more items with these coin purse clasps! 

Crochet Dolphin

Found this cute pattern for free of a dolphin I thought I would give a try in baby yarn. I am going to try again in a thicker weight yarn, It really isnt bad, but I think it could be better. I had intended to use it for a charm on a sunglasses case but it turned out a tad too big for that idea.
