These crochet circles are suppose to turn into squares. The one on the left was my first attempt and somehow I lost stitch count and it wasn't working out, I also ran out of the black yarn so on my second attempt I did not have the black as you see. The circle on the right is just before it was suppose to turn into a square and at first it was more of a diamond shape I pulled it out tried again then it turned into a lopsided square.. I counted my stitches and somewhere I got off count again! UGH!!! So I tuned it into a potholder of sorts and I will practice this square again till it is square. It is one of the 12 in my Crochet A Long 2013 at Ravelry.com.
About Me
Introduction
I’m Angela, the gal behind Aunt B Creations. I was on a mission to get out of a state of depression after my mother lost her battle with colon cancer. Inheriting all of Moms sewing goods, I took up crocheting.
I had this clever idea that I would learn how to make Afghans, like Mom made for others and in her memory, I would donate them for charity. The time it takes to get an Afghan finished, I realized fairly quick I needed something else.
I decided to join some crochet swap groups on Facebook. Bingo! That was what I needed to enhance my crocheting. With Mom not being around to ask questions and doing fun projects like hot pads and coasters and having to send them to other crocheters in our group, it was super fun and it really helped me find projects I would love to receive, but in turn I will make them for others.
I do love to try all sorts of crafty things, but if I find a great free crochet pattern, I enjoy sharing with others and not leading them on a trail of click baits to follow and never finding a pattern in the end.
When there’s not a crochet hook in my hand, you can find me making handmade cards, painting, or reading. You might also find me playing with my two cats or snuggling with my two fluffy Pomeranians. :)

Crochet Squaring The Big Circle
This square came out beautifully if I do say so myself. This pattern was written by Kate Jenks from Signed With an Owl. The square was one of the wonderful twelve inch squares for the 2013 Block A Month Crochet A Long

Crochet A Long
CROCHET-A-LONG 2013
My first attempt at these squares. As you can plainly see, I have a hard time getting them square. I think if I would have made a couple more at the same time that maybe one out of three would have been square. It takes me a couple times to get things worked just right.January

Crochet Simple 10 Petal Afghan Square
I am really trying to face my intimidation of making Granny squares. This one would be beautiful had I not messed up in the top left corner. I will need to attempt these patterns again when I am a better at crocheting.

Crochet Winter Toddler Hat
One winter hat for a toddler! It was so fun and easy to make my first toddler hat that actually might fit the designated size it was intended for! It was meant for a 2 year old, but I don't have any toddlers or babies to test my crochet projects on so I am out of luck in knowing for sure. But I accomplished and completed the project and that in itself is worth a pat on the back!

Crochet Granny Square Handbag
This was such an interesting Crochet-A-Long. If it weren't for the wonderful instructor I may have had a heck of a time.
